On: Project 7 Blessings

It started pouring before E-Commerce today. As I was walking to Nussbaum, I asked God, "If you're going to have it pour like this, why isn't there any awesome lightning?" I kept walking, made it to Nussbaum, and there was still no lightning. I walked out of E-Commerce with the sky being this strange orange color and yet again saw no lightning. I headed to the Orchestra Concert and enjoyed that immensely, but was again slightly disappointed that there was no lightning. After that, the sky was still a strange orange color and I continued my night with Zumba. After an intense workout, I headed out once again towards Gerig. God finally rewarded me with some stunning lightning.

Then I began to contemplate my blessing of lightning. God showers (hah, pun) so many blessings on me each day and I rarely take the time to appreciate them. So, a little project I've created for myself is to detail 7 blessings every day. The kicker is that they must be 7 unique blessings about that specific day with no repeats.
I originally said 5 blessings, but 7 is my favorite number and I'm convinced it's also God's favorite number.  My hope is that soon I'll be able to recognize little blessings everywhere and that coming up with 7 blessings will become natural.

      I'm not sure how to describe myself. It's a hard task. Ironic, considering that I am me. So, I've come up with a few things that you must be aware of. You must be aware that I am a Christian. I love God, with my whole heart. This is my core, my essence. You also must be aware that I am a geek. I honestly love school, learning, thinking, solving problems, and getting homework done. Most of the time. Another thing to be aware of is that I am a comp sci-new media/systems major and Jesus is my knight in shining armor who helps me slay my dragons in the dungeon. =] The dungeon is where I hang out a lot of the time. The last thing to be aware of is that I love my family, friends, and cat, very much. I lied. The real last thing to be aware of is God's love for you, whether you know it or not.
